Our team recently embarked on a productive day-retreat at one of our Managing Director's favorite spots, Wekiva Island in Longwood, FL. Against the backdrop of the serene river and the lush surroundings, we gathered to ignite our creativity, brainstorm the essence of the ApartmentsFor brand, and most importantly, enjoy each other's company in-person, getting everyone out of their home office.

Setting the Scene: Wekiva Island provided the perfect canvas for our retreat, offering a breathtaking conference room with panoramic views of the river. Nestled in this idyllic location, we spent our day brainstorming, dreaming, and strategizing about the future of ApartmentsFor. The tranquil atmosphere acted as a catalyst for inspiration, setting the stage for a perfect blend of work and play.

Fueling Creativity: Our meetings weren't your typical boardroom sessions. We opted for a change of scenery and headed downstairs to indulge in the culinary delights served up by the award-winning food truck, Without A Paddle. Against the backdrop of the river and locals enjoying the sunshine, we enjoyed a fresh and flavorful lunch that fueled not just our bodies, but our creativity as well.

Athleisure and Adventure: To beat the mid-afternoon slump, we hit the changing rooms to shed our business attire and embrace the comfort of athleisure wear. The highlight of our retreat was a kayaking trip down the river – a team-building adventure that encouraged collaboration and camaraderie. Paddling in sync, we navigated the tranquil waters, basking in the beauty of nature and the thrill of adventure. 

Refreshing Perspectives: The change of scenery, coupled with the physical activity, brought about a refreshing shift in perspectives. The open-air environment allowed for candid discussions and innovative ideas to flow freely, setting the stage for a renewed sense of purpose and direction for ApartmentsFor.

Camaraderie at the Bar: As the sun began to dip below the horizon, we wrapped up our day with a well-deserved visit to the outdoor bar. With refreshing drinks in hand, we relaxed and shared laughter, solidifying the bonds that make our team not just colleagues but friends.
