Moira Lockwood

Moira Lockwood is ApartmentsForAthens’ newest Social Media Representative, bringing her creative flair and passion for content creation to the team. Originally from Cleveland, Georgia, Moira is now living in Athens, Georgia, and is a graduate of the University of Georgia. While at the University of Georgia, Moira graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and a minor in Communication Studies.

She’s always been drawn to social media and content creation since creating production videos for her high school drama program. This led her to take on more content creation-centric roles both professionally and socially. While at the University of Georgia, she also took classes that fueled her drive to create not only compelling and engaging short-form social content but also spark and enhance her ability to create other forms of entertainment media like podcasts, short films, and social graphics.

While at the University of Georgia, Moira was an active student on campus and joined a National Honor Fraternity her freshman year, she held several positions throughout her involvement and served as the chapter President during her senior year. Serving several elected positions in this organization only heightened her love for social media and event planning. She ran several social campaigns, created graphics, and led countless events.

Outside of professional and academic achievements, Moira finds fulfillment in other hobbies and activities. She loves nature walks, reading, traveling, and of course her cat, Fifa. She is also a movie buff and loves regularly updating her Letterboxd account!

Moira is a passionate, creative, and committed worker. She strives to complete work at her highest potential while always leaving room to learn, in both creative and professional pursuits.
