How ApartmentsForAthens Is Supporting UGA Housing and Students Alike This Summer

Summer in Georgia is known for its scorching heat, but that hasn't stopped the team at ApartmentsForAthens from being on the ground, tabling all summer long to ensure UGA students find the perfect apartment to fit their needs.

This summer, ApartmentsForAthens has been working to help not only students who need an apartment immediately but also those who will need one in the future. Through routine tabling at the Arch during orientation, we have had the opportunity to talk to hundreds of students and parents about the importance of starting the apartment search early in the Athens market.

Partnering with Jittery Joe's and the UGA Orientation team directly is a welcome first this summer. Now, every transfer and incoming freshman's orientation bag includes a coupon for free coffee at Jittery Joe's, along with a link to ApartmentsForAthens. Our goal is to help freshmen and transfer students plan ahead and find their next home after the unique freshman dorm experience!

ApartmentsForAthens is also committed to supporting the hard-working team at UGA Housing. This year, our team decided to cater Kona Ice for UGA Housing to give everyone a much-needed break from work and the summer heat. It was great to talk to Linda and her dedicated team, who work tirelessly to help students find housing within UGA's grounds, and to discuss the future of UGA housing and off-campus living.
