Sydney Jamieson, VP of Operations, Receives the NAA 20 in Their Twenties Award
SYDNEY JAMIESON HAS BEEN NAMED AN AWARD RECIPIENT FOR THE NATIONAL APARTMENT ASSOCIATION (NAA) 20 IN THEIR TWENTIES!
Sydney learned the ropes of the apartment industry in Gainesville while a student at the University of Florida. During that time, she made incredible strides in the apartment world and established herself as a powerhouse in the multifamily industry in the state of Florida. Currently, Sydney is the VP of Operations for iLS network and manages a team of industry professionals including developers, market directors, and content strategists that, under her leadership, have positioned the iLS family of brands, (including ApartmentsForBulls.com, SwampRentals.com, RentTally.com, 407apartments.com, RentTampaBay.com, and RentJax.com) as the preeminent apartment guides in the state.
NAA 20 IN THEIR TWENTIES
Through the NAA 20 in Their Twenties award, Sydney is recognized among the best and brightest in the rental housing industry. Award winners are under 29 years of age and have made great professional achievements with incredible potential for continued growth. Members of the NAA's 20 in Their Twenties class of 2020 will be recognized at NAA's virtual Apartmentalize event to be held in November.
A PASSION FOR APARTMENTS, PEOPLE, AND GIVING BACK
"Nothing is more personal than helping someone find a place to live. My team runs a collection of local online apartment guides across the state of Florida with technology that empowers renters to find the apartment that best fits their lifestyle and budget," says Sydney, who is driven by a passion for serving renters through day to day business and working with local apartment associations.
Sydney began her career in the apartment industry in Gainesville, Florida as a Leasing Manager and Marketing Assistant. As her career blossomed, she joined iLS network, a company built by CEO, Pete Zimek, and other Florida Gators. She continued to expand her passion for the multi-family housing industry and grew to help to build various markets with iLS throughout the state.
In addition to her role in the growth of iLS network, Sydney has been an involved and integral member of local apartment associations including AAGO and NCFAA. Sydney has been involved in NCFAA since 2012 in various roles and had the honor of beginning the popular Young Professionals Committee. She currently serves on the NCFAA Board, is Award Party Committee Co-Chair, and is a sought-after industry instructor. With AAGO, Sydney has been involved with advocacy and education efforts and consistently volunteers her time with the AAGO Foundation serving as both a Foundation Board Member as well as Chair to the Friends of the Foundation Committee.
Though she currently resides in the Orlando area, Sydney travels often throughout the iLS Network markets in Florida, building relationships, attending events, and networking and mentoring the best and brightest in our industry.
Sydney obtained a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Florida. She is a Collier Companies Collier College graduate, Certified Apartment Supplier (CAS), Advanced Facilitator Training (AFT) graduate, and a 2014 Florida Apartment Association Leadership Lyceum graduate.
